Now that the 1.7 appstore release is out, the damus team has started working on v1.8 testflight (unreleased)! I will be doing a video of whats new in 1.7 soon.

The 1.8 testflight will be for purple members only, so make sure to grab a membership if you want to start testing some new upcoming features.

Today I added quote repost listing support to 1.8 (see pics)! nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8 has been working on making the video player not suck, it has seeking and proper fullscreen now… so for the delay on this 😅. nostr:npub1fgz3pungsr2quse0fpjuk4c5m8fuyqx2d6a3ddqc4ek92h6hf9ns0mjeck has been working on custom emoji support, which is already supported in a few clients, but now its coming to damus! Yay.

On the android side, i’ve been working on adding initial posting support… still too early for a release, but it’s happening!
