Taking some time with this sculpture in orange honeycomb calcite. Planning to hollow out the center of the flame to allow for a strong light source, but working currently on shaping the flame itself.

I began this sculpture with an idea in mind, but in terms of the shape of the flame, I’m letting the stone itself guide me.
