I also add some predefined relay groups, one is a Japanese relay group, one is nostr-dev group, if you found some relay which are dedicated to some topic/specific theme, please let me know, maybe I am trying to add more predefined groups for fun.
Are you saving the relay groups as events? or is it possible for the user to create their own and save it as an event?
Id like to build this same functionality into my client and it would be cool if it were interoperable
yes it is possible to create their own. but right now it is only saved on local storage. will be publish as events to relays in the future. we should talk about this with highlighter.com as well to make sure interoperable.
