Always good to try out new wallet options. My LN address is corndalorian@rizful.com. I’ll share my experience as I go along.

Full disclosure, the Rizful team reached out to me about testing it, and even graciously offered some sats in return. I prefer a V4V approach so I declined the sats, and let them know I’m happy to test it for a bit and see how I like it. Hopefully that way, I can give an authentic review of it. Impressed so far with the setup process and NWC options/settings.

I got that dm too. Was going to do some research and try it out myself as I need to learn more about dif wallets anyway. Primal is my only lightning wallet so I'm nervous about just swapping nostr verified wallets and losing sats.

Primal has been a very reliable wallet. I’m not really looking to switch that up long term, but I do like knowing if there are other reliable options out there in case one has issues. The fact that Rizful supports nostr features is great, but I’ve only recently heard of them. Need to give them a good test drive. 😂

lolol. I linked my Rizful account to the Alby Go app so I can send/receive from there. Easier than logging into the website each time.

I should have explained more clearly. Alby Go is a free app that can connect to any NWC wallet. Basically think of it as a remote control for that wallet. In my Rizful settings I setup a NWC connection that I pasted into Alby Go. That way, I see my Rizful balance and transactions, and can send/receive from my Rizful wallet using the Alby Go app without needing to login to Rizful website.

None of that precludes using it with Primal or any other nostr app. Just an easier way to monitor and use the balance via NWC instead of the web.

I see it on the actual note you zapped, as well as in Alby Go. But not in the Primal wallet, because the zap wasn’t received into that wallet.

First day trying out nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjygpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgkwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8qunfd4skctnwv46qvye58n wallet and no complaints so far. For now I’ve added it to my profile for receiving zaps, and that seemed to work as expected. I’ll also test it for sending zaps over the next couple days. I created a NWC connection to add Rizful to my Alby Go wallet app, and I like the various NWC options Rizful gives when creating a connection.

One thing I’ll say is that it’s going to be hard to beat the tight integration the Primal wallet has with the Primal nostr client when it comes to zaps. Having to switch to a separate app to view my received zap transactions is not as seamless as when using the built in Primal wallet. I can see the zap notifications under the notifications tab, but the Primal wallet goes a step further in actually rendering the zapped note within the transaction details. Rizful does include the zap comment in the transaction details, but I don’t see where it shows which note was zapped. That would be helpful info to have.
