Why is it "Stay humble" and not "be modest" ?

I think that falls under staying humble. I also think that it’s “stay humble” because to be humbled is typically painful and not fun. So by staying humble to begin with, you prevent yourself from getting rekt essentially
I think humility is the opposite of something Bitcoiners preferably are. Bitcoiners are defiant, prepared and willing to fierce in defense. But not arrogant, Bitcoiners tell eachother not to boast, not to say "I told you so".
Staying humble is referring to the attitude, where as modesty can easily be misunderstood as in bitcoin terms as not getting all the sats we can get, but to stay modest about it.
I can have 90% of all the bitcoin and still act humbly.
Humility is valuing others. Modesty is more about not exposing oneself to others (not just when it comes to clothes)
Thank you for reacting, I don't agree. I think modesty is the presentation to others and humility is the introspective place you take. And I think defiance is a great part of how Bitcoiners compare themselves, there is no room for defiance when you are humble. But you can be defiant and present yourself modestly.
