Been a while since I spun up a mealie instance. Lots of good improvements since the last time I used it.

What's that?
Self-hosted recipe server and more. It does meal planning and shopping lists as well. I'm not a meal planner, but I like having a repository of shit I cook that I can share and for my own reference and the shopping lists. My house has a shared shopping list lol. I also have some friends using it for their house.
Nextcloud has Cookbook for recipes, it's nothing fancy, but works well for us. We'll have to give this one a shot too 👍
Yeah, I'm slowly moving away from NextCloud. Hence spinning this up again.
How come? What are you using instead?
Next Cloud uses a lot of resources and I'm sure there's lighter ways of doing what I want to do my primary use for Nextcloud is contacts and calendar, the rest of the stuff I don't really use anymore.
I left Nextcloud for SyncThing, radicale, and Miniflux. Nextcloud just too slow and too difficult to run and maintain. Buggy AF
Alright that's a fair reason. Was worried there was something wrong with nextcloud. I am enjoying it so far and also use the cloud storage.
Yeah, I used to use it for literally everything. There's no problem with nextcloud. I just am using it less and less and using other technologies more.
