Hey does anyone know why flights are always delayed now? Like specifically (not just because COVID)?
It doesn’t feel like it was like this a few years ago.

I know Southwest is due to this dumb combination. . And other routine overbooking airlines (spirit, frontier) suffer similar fates
1. Pick a seat boarding
2. Planes that cant fit carryons, necessitating late checked luggage at the gate by C group on every flight
3. Only one gate attendant (labor cutbacks) and that one person had to wheel all the wheelchair people down the ramp.
Late flights compound through day. Pilot hours restricted. I absolutely would not fly in evening if avoidable.
Gotcha are you noticing it’s mostly just southwest that has issues? I’ve had many problems with united, American, and Alask airlines.
Delta seems to be doing best in my experience.
