Sorry, but could you explain what exactly is a note zap? What differs it from normal zaps? For me as a newbie it was a little bit tricky to configure zaps. I Could't get zaps to work with alby + amethyst, then, it worked with WOS + amethyst. But it always must open Wos before sending it. On web application Iris, for instance, with brave browser + linux mint, zaps do not work for me, It keeps saying that couldnt find any wallet when I tip someone. Could it be solved by having an opentab with wos logged in, or with some plugin? Sorry for so many questions
There’s 2 kinds of zaps. Profile zaps (when you zap the profile of someone) and a note zap (where you zap a specific note directly). Profile zaps are enabled on most clients but note zaps depends on the client. On IOS, Damus (they need to be enabled with a script), Nostur (they can be added through an option in the settings), Freerse have them. I don’t have much experience with Android but I think Amethyst has them
On desktop, I think you can use GetAlby wallet. It has a browser extension that you can install to be able to zap while using a browser.

Does amethyst support nostr wallet connect? I’m pretty sure it does but I don’t have Android. If so then you can go to nwc.getalby.com and create an app connection for amethyst. Then you paste that in the appropriate wallet settings field in amethyst. It allows you to send payments directly from your Alby balance from within an authorized app without having to open an external wallet app.
