should direct messages in Chachi be opt-in? should I enable it automatically for people that have set up their inbox relays? wondering what's the best approach, I checked Flotilla and it seems to ask you before enabling them.

I guess chachi already connects automatically to the user's inbox relays to check for nutzaps but more user choice/control is always good imo.

Good point, I'll make it optional. The other heavy on NIP-44 decryption is the ecash wallet but it's already opt-in and won't decrypt the same token event twice. Gift wraps are also decrypted once.
