I have 4 years of 1st hand evidence that this is not the case.

It's okay if you don't want to spend Bitcoin, others do.

If you want to vote with your money to make a better world, spending your Bitcoin at businesses that value it is the most powerful. Spending your dollars at these places still makes a massive difference, but it ranks lower.

Bitcoin only becomes peer-to-peer money if it's exchanged peer-to-peer. That's why I happily pay with Bitcoin to businesses that accept it.

The more we encourage it the more likely it will become what we want it to be.
