She was respectfully placed in a drawer bed, and has been there since without recourse. If she's a poltergeist, then it seems, so far, that we have an understanding. Her patina is beautiful.

Her clothing is fragile, and she's staying protected until I move to the new place and can put her on display.

We'll see what happens when I stand her up and she opens her eyes...
