I have no idea if this is a thing, I'm guessing not but my question is, could it be and is anybody working in it🤔. Say I own a business and somebody is paying at the PoS with a normal bank debit card. Is there any way that fiat debit payment can be turned into a lightening payment at the PoS? The buyer has no interest in BTC and just wants to pay with their debit card, I, as a business owner, want to be paid in BTC, over lightning. Is anybody working on making this possible? #Asknostr.

Wouldn't that be like paying with a card in a different currency? When it happens then someone (either payment terminal's bank or your bank) needs to buy currency of the transaction with your currency. And there are always fees for that. So as a business owner you'd have to swallow that fee (or charge customers more)

I suppose you're right, that's why it's probably not possible to do, I was just wondering if any of the really big brained people in the space are working on making it a possibility.
