the 2048 words wordlist used in #BIP39 was specifically designed to be easy to remember and to minimize the risk of errors when transcribing or typing in a mnemonic seed phrase. The words were chosen to be easily distinguishable from one another, with no words having the same first four letters, and no two words differing by only one letter. Additionally, the words were carefully selected to be easily translatable into many different languages.
