We're living in relevatory times. The rot has spread everywhere, and it is finally being revealed. Hang in there, there's alot to unveil and clean up. But ultimately, we'll be better off, and lessons learned will serve as guidestones what not to repeat.
Hopefully you are right. In 2008 they just swept the rot under the rug where it has continued to fester until today.
