I once had an Amway guy show up for a presentation. At the end of it, I sold him a used crappy 7 foot pool table from Sears that I was going to junk. Oh how the tables turned on that one.
The job of the sales person is to facilitate the exchange of value.
Sales people who try to trick you into buying their wares, miss this.
Sales people who aren't interested in understanding your needs or matching them with solutions, are never able to facilitate value exchange.
