I was curious about tiktoks livestream feature. They have this thing called coins, you fund your account and then use then for tipping creators. I tried it out and my account was instantly locked “for suspicious activity “ and they asked me for my ID.

I think this is more likely to work than BTC zaps.
There's a fundamental problem with zaps on Nostr: stacking sats is the primary directive for Maxis, and zapping is contrary to this.
I think this is a general headwind for BTC as a currency. The incentives of the "BTC game" prioritize hoarding sats, not spending them.
I loved the "you wouldn't zap a car crash" presentation. It's great in theory. However, BTC V4V doesn't seem to be working in practice.
As an example, accounts dedicated to providing maximum value in the V4V economy (e.g. Flash) are not getting commesurable V for the V they provide to the community.
I just activated my tiktok again and avoided going live in there. Tiktok can be very strict.
