It’s the return to summer.

This is my favorite time of year.

I celebrate my birthday in a few days, it’s the beginning of the long summer months, and these are the times when light is abundant, the days blend into long evenings that seem so alive.

It’s like the daylight wins a victory each evening and holds out against the darkness.
