It’s interesting that you would mention facts when that’s all I have been trying to get out of you all day, LMAO.
I was curious what the factual reason for Apple, treating Damus differently, was, and I got my answer.
Have a great day.

Apple doesn’t like zap. They want apps to use in app purchases so they can take their cut. That’s the reason.
Have a great day too
And round and round we go. If that were the case, there wouldn’t be any apps that allow it, but there are. And before you say it, popularity has nothing to do with it. That would be idiotic for Apple to allow some apps to operate unrestricted simply because they have a lower user base.
What you’re saying isn’t a fact, it’s an opinion based on the information you have available, and that’s fine.
My opinion, based on the information available, is that Apple simply doesn’t like Damus and I can certainly understand why.
So far, the only apps that I have found that require a purchase from the AppStore, are apps that have their own wallet built into the app. Primal and Current both have to pay for zaps. So, maybe it has something more to do with wanting to use your own wallet rather than using NWC to access your funds.
