Was just thinking this because I heard a convo on the radio, recently, about AI voices impersonating people on the phone. They suggested you set up a secret passphrase with every person you know.
But we have cryptographic secrets.
About the prank calls:
I‘d like a nostr client which feels like a flip phone. You store your contacts, you can call them, send messages and that‘s basically it.
App would be called
„Nostr Phone 3000“
Except some (at least two) of your subscribers are spreading fake news.
Nostr doesn't solve for news being incorrect, it solves for lying about the source.
