“Open source email domain”
Are you only using their email hosting service?
I think so. I have two email domains, one with Zoho and then one with Wix but that goes to gmail…. Want to combine and start new.
So
kyrastonington@zoho.com, standalone
kyrastonington@wiz.com, gmail
& you want to merge the 2 & stop forwarding to gmail?
Do you have an always-on server at home? Did you plan to rent one? In either case, are you technical enough to run through setup & maintenance of the software?
Running email infrastructure is a MASSIVELY complex system that nearly every single company outsources. The one I work for is at the size where it could be done in-house & still don’t. You might want to pick up a Microsoft tenant for this & just accept that you’re going to need the extra help at the sacrifice of all your privacy (where you’re at today).
I don’t know of anywhere offhand that manages foss email infrastructure, but that definitely exists - I’d guess for a pretty penny that makes it cost-prohibitive though. Microsoft would be ~$20/m as a ballpark.
Im curious to hesr what you find. Would like to spin up email for my local club
I think easydns from nostr:npub1elwpzsul8d9k4tgxqdjuzxp0wa94ysr4zu9xeudrcxe2h3sazqkq5mehan has what you are looking for.
Not sure what you mean by "open source email domain", but if you mean hosting your email where you can access it via open protocols like IMAP, POP3, and SMTP, then I can help with that. Not cheap like Wix, but support not outsourced to clueless script monkeys. ;) Feel free to reach out via sales@bizgrok.com to discuss (web site is horribly outdated).
EasyDNS for the win! Thank you everyone for your input.
