First time I went to China, it felt like a third-world country. Now, 20 years later, they’ve got skyscrapers, high-speed trains, and a booming middle class—all built off our demand. Meanwhile, we kinda sidelined a whole chunk of our own workforce—kept them going with welfare and distractions, but not much purpose. So yeah, maybe the tariffs suck, but how else is the West supposed to bring some jobs back home? China’s not the underdog anymore. Just thinking out loud here… how do we even make this fair now?
