Just randomly thinking about drones right now. I've always wanted to own one, but figured the novelty would wear of fairly quickly, so I never bought one.

I feel the same way about 3d printers and CNC machines.

I have a drone I use once a year to take a look at my roof and dont intend to renew FAA licenses.

My son had a cheap $100 drive a couple years ago. It was cool, but I don't consider it a real one.
