Meet ‘Lorkulup’ one of the most famous Lion Kings in the Mara. He is unusually tall for a lion and his nose constantly runs due to having been kicked on it by a buffalo years ago, and he also had a tragic snake bite on his mouth- managed to overcome both and is the best buffalo hunter in the area as well as a loving dad-again unusual male lion behaviour allowing his cubs to eat before the females.

He and his remaining 2 brothers Olopisha and Olomina rule the Black Rocker Pride, may they reign for many more years 🦁💜🫂
