A "DNS" system where you use a public key to look up an IP address? Isn't the point of DNS so you can connect to an IP address without needing to remember a random series of numbers?

So... You use NIP-05 to lookup your npub, which yields your IP?

But the issue with not owning the domain persists. And as far as I understood - pubky introduces its own 'dns' system based on pub/privkey so one can't get rugged from the DNS overlords.
