Good call out. So if there was a way to know that the majority of those sats went to strangers and were not returned, would that be closer to an ideal indicator of altruistic zapping?

I’m curious about this topic because I think there are people here who are so behind the mission that they’re zapping strangers and I think that’s an amazingly hopeful signal if captured correctly.

A cool thing would be a visual breakdown of dots on a chart. Where each dot is an npub. The size of the dot is the amount zapped. And the X axis is time. The Y axis can be the follower count of the npub receiving the zaps.
