For those needing some distraction, I’m continuing with my #zombiedeer encounter.

At this point, it had been about an hour since the deer was first caught on camera, and I knew something wasn’t right with it, since it didn’t realize it could back up and free itself. The game warden had sent two deputies that appeared to be in their early 20s. They probably knew less about deer than I did.
I’m not a fan of being poked, and those antlers looked pretty pointy to me, so I left it up to those guys while I stood behind the fence…
