Why not have newbies join a newbie island relay and their notes only show if they have a profile filled out (image , bio min). They can still post to other relays but this will make it easier to create a newbie feed

Restricting the potential spread of ideas from newbies ("newbie island relay") is akin to punishing newbies for being new - rather than rewarding good ideas regardless of where they originate.
Or am I missing something?
If it is added as an extra relay rather than the only available one, it may be easier to find newcomers and hear their voices. After all, there are clients that successfully display relay feeds. Interaction may help them adapt more quickly. Imagine a welcome squad :)
