i understand the sentiment. more importantly, the living wage and access to independent living spaces which are safe and affordable is more critical for daily parisian life. citizenship and real world agendas include making corporate entities and french businesses pay for cost of living; profits held at a distance from the citizen is exploitation and the french government should not fund social welfare while corporate exploitation balloons. that's poor policy. make capitalism pay for its free market properly.
