As Bitcoin catches on (and it will), governments are going to make it more difficult to buy bitcoin except via ETFs. It’s a control thing. What’re we going to do then? Or do people feel this is not a thing?

Exactly. They are incentivised to take the same direction as they did with gold.

We need to be there to spend says for goods and services once the masses wake up.

You’re absolutely right. I only just got it once you’d mentioned it. The only way to combat the ETF (as the only on ramp) is to keep the peer to peer functionality alive. That means buying and spending Bitcoin. This would become much easier if we insist on earning in Bitcoin.
