don't. he's right. wearing a t-shirt to the superb owl is a nothing burger. I've just tried to highlight why the echo chamber is so pumped about it. it's because Dorsey has done more with his fiat success than any other "elite" (aka HNWI) I'm aware of. Putting his money where is mouth is, as the saying goes.
there are a large cohort of people that dislike Dorsey because of the Twitter files, and that dislike is not unfounded. I personally don't hold him solely culpable, but if repentance for it is in the form of funding freedom tech, I wholeheartedly support that and endorse his mission.
There is often an unseen motive for such things. Philanthropy is used by elites to curry the favour of the plebs since Rockerfeller days as far as I'm aware. Why? Because everyone thought they were ruthless uncaring assholes and they were. They used it as a marketing campaign to change their public image. Was there a recent event that came to light that painted him poorly enough to make him want to change his public image? Twitter files as you mentioned.
Maybe he's just benevolent soul who wants to help the developing world prosper but historically speaking it seems unlikely. I think it's more likely he's somewhere in between. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette kinda attitude. Can always clean up the mess afterward but the main goal is achieved.
There will surely imo be some sort of play going on behind the scenes away from public eye. Just the way it works. It's also possible that play is an improvement on existing situation but there will be a play nonetheless.
