Today while running along a trail through the woods I came across a dad and 2 kids biking while wearing very fancy looking masks.

I felt bad for the kids. Here they are, in the woods in the Pacific Northwest, and they can’t benefit from the fresh air.

I took them over while running (one kid was very young so they were going slow) and me passing them for 20-30 second while running uphill was the longest they shared space with anyone on that trail.
