On phoenix, i can’t send sats to a lightning address such as theprotest44@walletofsatoshi.com

It never seems to work?

I’ve reverted to using green wallet for this feature

Not sure, sorry

No worries.

Also, I haven’t noticed any differences with phoenix yet.

I suspect I’d only notice the difference if I went back to the older version of phoenix. Then I’d notice that the old version is slower. This always happens to me when upgrading a phone..

tried it. sent 1k sats with fee 1 sats to wos. succeed

Oh, thanks! It’s not my wallet address btw but thanks.

Perhaps I have a payment channel problem in phoenix?

I don’t fully understand the channel creation, I wish it would warn you when it’s going to ding you for another 3000 sats.

Switched to Blink and Getalby. Low amounts work fine for me. I know it's custodial.

Am I doing something wrong or is there always a 3,000 SAT fee when receiving payments to Phoenix? That’s the only reason I don’t use it as my main LN wallet. I use ZBD to transact on a day to day basis then when my balance reaches a certain threshold I send to Phoenix to make the fee a little more palatable. Any tips or recommendations?

i guess we need to use same channel until the capacity is occupied.

if we just send sats not using the same channel, it will make a new channel instead with fee 3k sats

I’ve sent multiple transactions to Phoenix. Most from the same address and it still charges the 3000 sat fee. Not sure how to control the channels honestly. I thought I saw that the 3000 SATS was a “service fee”. Not 💯% sure tho.

idk but honestly this 3k sats fee is burden to me oso.
