Well, for one orthodoxy are more "decentralized" they argue very strongly against Papism. There's no Pope.
And there's a huge emphasis on the priests learning the original Greek that the Bible was translated in. Also, orthodoxy acknowledges the apocrypha to give context to the Bible. How can you understand what was written if you don't study the books that were also written at the same time period? Jesus has direct quotes from the book of Enoch but you never hear about it except from the orthodoxy bible.
The entire religion can boast they've been doing the same traditions since Christ walked the Earth. Which is what makes it super powerful IMO.
