Yeah man…

I mean, Nostr has a lot of potential, but i feel like it’ll be another 5-10 before it really takes off and theres so much development; its hard to keep up.

Getting off social media… its more about the idea that theres enough people saying enough things, not really sure there needs to be another asshole on the block.

What is the purpose of social media?

What social good does it ultimately provide?

How does it benefit (your/my) life?

Whats the point of having “followers”?

I know people want to make a living being an influencer; but why?

Agreed, nostr has awhile before it really catches on…

Most of the time social media feels like spitting in the wind. Kinda of pointless most of the time. I guess the purpose would be to connect with like minded individuals that you might not necessarily meet in your local area.. it’s definitely been captured by the powers that be and used for nefarious purposes… that’s why I like nostr so much, they can’t control it like they can legacy SM.
