The security dilemma: because you cannot know the true motivations of your enemy, if your enemy deploys weapons and troops near your border, you cannot know whether that is done strictly in defense or as a preparation for an attack. So you have to presume the worse that they are planning to attack and defend against that. This fundamental inability to understand each other leads to most wars. NATO expansion up to Russia, Russia invasion of Ukraine, US weapons in Poland, Russia moving troops near NATO border, etc.

Maybe we need Elon Musk to create a 'mind meld' neurolink so world leaders can know for sure that the other doesn't wish them any harm. The world leaders can have their brains altered. They can own nothing and be happy. They can eat the bugs. And we should be able to watch it all on TV.

Even if they did implant neuralink on every world leader and every soldier, the devices would eventually start glitching, decaying and poisoning their brain. During a solar maximum (current period) the cosmic radiation would accelerate the decaying process by a factor of 3 and probably block out specific electronic and radio frequencies until they are brain dead.

Even RFID implants would eventually start decaying from radiation, many people don't understand but the Sun is very powerful if you strip away the atmosphere.

I can see teams of humans hardwiring to virtual simulations, using special VR helmets or immersive technologies including cryo-stasis chambers on Earth; this method would allow humanity to conquer the galaxy with humanoid androids - these could provide abundant scientific, sensor and sample feedback, while creating trillions of jobs back on Earth in off-world mining, exploration, maintenance, logistics and recycling. The materials to build these androids and helmets are everywhere on Earth (PET and CO²). No trans-humanism required only augmentation, so neuralink is on the right path BUT if Elon even thinks of deploying it in space or Mars, chips or links could be compromised by cosmic radiation, rays or dust.
