Pour over is filter imo.
To be fair, just about all forms of brewing involve a filter (besides immersion brewing), including moka and French press…
What I don’t like is the drip coffee machines (save for nice espresso machines).

I would. I usually make drip coffee at home. And I describe it as filter.
French coffee is to cloudy to my taste. I like my coffee black and clear as a start lit night.
