The control of information is something the elite always does, particularly in a despotic form of government. Information, knowledge, is power. If you can control information, you can control people.

Super bullish on public key private key pairs for information filtering…
I think AI/ deepfakes will accelerate this. Soon the only way to verify something was actually said by someone online will be because it was signed by their private key.
I don’t think the implications of this on society can be fully grasped yet.
