Things we cannot afford:
1) food
2) shelter
3) education
4) domestic security
Things we can afford:
1) war in Ukraine
2) gender neutral bathroom signs
3) impunity for multi billion dollar pharmaceutical corps
4) masks
5) gay sex education for kids
6) 85 year old politicians
The last part are basic necessities nowadays.
Food, shelter, eduction and domestic security are overrated.
