It's not that I don't like them, I just never grew up with them so I have zero clue how to train one to not be a neurotic mess (like most of the dogs I've been around).

I honestly would love to adopt an old dog that just likes to lie in the sun and doesn't bother moving much except to bark once when there's a visitor. 😅

An adventure dog would be pretty cool, but, that would be years in the future if ever. I'm not in a stable enough position to have a dog around.

Dogs are children on easy mode :)

Consistent boundaries plus time to invest spending with them and you can't go wrong.
