Re Launches Institutional Reinsurance Products on Avalanche
Re, a decentralized reinsurance infrastructure platform, has expanded onto the Avalanche blockchain with new on-chain yield products: reUSD (Basis-Plus) and reUSDe (Insurance Alpha). The platform also introduced the Re Points Program to incentivize ecosystem engagement.
These offerings aim to connect global capital markets with blockchain's speed and transparency, bringing compliant, fully collateralized financial products from real-world insurance markets to DeFi. The products are KYC/AML-gated and integrated with Avalanche DeFi protocols.
CEO Karn Saroya stated, "On-chain institutional capital is looking for transparent, sustainable yield sources, and we believe reinsurance is DeFi’s most compelling new category." The Re Points Program rewards users for providing liquidity, staking, and platform engagement.
