This is actually one of the most important discussions to be able to have with someone new to bitcoin IMO. When people enter this space it's easy to see why they are taken by other coins, by insulting them it puts them on the defensive right away. This makes it harder for them to be swayed by your words, no matter how brilliant you think your argument for bitcoin is.

I'm as much of a maxi as anyone, but I always try to handle conversations with new people excited about thinking in "blockchain" delicately. Most people aren't swayed as well through argument as they are through conversation.
