This is so helpful, bro! You’re spot on about verse 1. I recorded without pulling the little mic near my mouth and just rapped out loud. Verse 2, I pulled it closer to my mouth.

I do really like how simple it is to record in bandlab, so seeing how you think about mixing vocals is super useful.

Yeah, being able to get to presentable quality working on a phone still blows my mind

What do you record your vocals with? The pods mic?

iPhone 14 Pro Max internal mic

Cooool - what do you monitor with?

AirPods 3 not ideal…

Yea, I bet you’re always dealing with some latency

Compared to AP1 it’s minimal… I don’t even readjust. But yeah, I should be wired

I’m still in the mindset that I will re-record the good stuff at HQ even if getting access to what used to be my post-prod studio is now complicated.

I’m building 5 tracks projects… when I get to 5 full tracks on a project will hit the studio, rinse repeat.

Very cool plan - I can’t wait to hear them all combined

Nostr music distribution is still not ready… but I want to be ready once it is.

I.m so happy that the « makers » camp (stemstr) is ahead of the distribution camp in this « race »

We’ve begun work on Community Collections - soon you’ll be able to collect sounds and tracks into playlists - could be like the stemstr version of the album

Very cool.

I guess what I wish for is…

for notes containing « masters » to be functional in other clients (nostr music players) with option of uploading the tracks to other « media relays » for back up (for example, when I publish, the note with media would also be stored on wavlake « media relay » or another similar service if I wish to)

Zap splits (with option to offer % to clients, relays, and let’s call them « marketing plebs » involved in the actual zap)

Conditional Walling (npub whitelist via subscription relays, sat per minute, zap per track, crowdwalling…)

A NOSTR DAW…

I’m a simple man 😎🤣🤣🤣
