just have a 10x12 awning set up with what amounts to a living room with a low table, a tent (facing east for morning sun), two panels and a jackery that is usually fully charged by evening

That sounds lovely. I have jackery panels (2nd hand cheap). I keep one in my car and direct charge from it when I find myself far from power. When I work remote (not on a computer, but the real kind of remote) I charge my solar lights off of them. What size bank did you get? I’ve been so tempted…

had extra cash at the time and got a 1000. i dont tend toward brand names, but the difference in quality between jackery and other batteries is unbelievable.

i didnt get the jackey panels though, i got two standard 100w 12v panels. they work great.

i feel like a giddy kid getting away with something every time i remember i can get all the power i need from a small setup like this 🤓

1000 would be enough for me.

My goal next year is to get my summer fridge on solar. Propane is a crutch. But I’m a total foodie.
