Unpopular opinion. Possible bad take, based on observation.

All the technical stuff being developed for Bitcoin will leave Bitcoin in the hands of programers and tech hobbiests and it will further alienate Bitcoin from the average user or general public from ever being universally adopted.

I don’t think this is a bad take but it’s also not perfect. I think it’s important for people to build cool shit even if very few understand it deeply. Eventually the user experience for that stuff, if useful enough, will get to a place where it’s plenty accessible. At least that’s the hope

Making Bitcoin easier to use is a hard problem to solve, I feel for everyone trying to improve it, UI designers, developers, educators, it takes a village, but if I look at what I had to deal with in 2016, especially with LN we've made a lot of progress, but yeah still way to go before granmummy be zapping you that $10 for your birthday

Yep.

This is a very good argument. A lot of good tech died because it was designed by engineers for engineers. To the other hand there is enough money in Bitcoin right now that the non-tech people are incentivized to design solutions for the general public.

The Virtuous full nodes and Bitcoin loyalists have to continue to push back. Purify, clean up and clean out all the shit being dumped in the blockchain.

All systems tend towards chaos and disorder. POW teaches us that order requires expense in the form of energy.

We The Virtuous full nodes and #Bitcoin loyalist must step-up to our responsibilities and provide the energy.

We have to start holding big miners responsible for filtering that shit out, and keeping it from getting in the blockchain. Or do our best to cut their nuts off. Ride or die. Incentives..🍆🗡️🧡😊

Stop talking about lightning like that! 😂

This is a very narrow window of observation tho, blue. Over the vast arc of things bitcoin has moved immensely from what it used to be. The ease of use today is heaps better than what it used to be. That being said, our short term expectations of what we would like bitcoin to be, are vastly immense compared to what is possible.

We're literally building the foundation for the future of money, you don't just change that shit on a whim whenever you feel like it cuz since feature is wanted by people. You must take into consideration that every change for the most part must be taken into consideration in lieu of everything else. This make change slow and hard to implement.

Here's a better framing for how to think about bitcoin. In the timeline of bitcoin we are but of little significance in comparison to it. We should do our best to foster it for future generations as it will be them that benefit the most.
