For me it would come down to what you're wanting to do. If it was something with proprietary information then MapleAI might make more sense. If you're working on open source code or things that you don't mind Anthropic knowing then Claude subscription will likely give you more bang for the buck.

For coding I have been using Grok-Code-1-Fast through OpenRouter, works great and is cheap. Downside is that xAI/Grok is taking your data of course. I don't care too much as I use it for OSS.
