I actually used #nostr #safebox at the doctor's today to take a quick note. I usually use (hold your nose) Google Keep because it is so damned convenient and fully aware of the concerns.

I realized #nostr #safebox is the better way, because of the reasons below. Plus I can access from any device!

Ey Tim! Following your work with SafeBox. A quick question, are you using a special kind for that note taking use case?

Kind 37375 - addressable event. d-tag is title obfuscated with a digest of private info. NIP-44 encrypted.

My big thinking now is whether I need a different kind for personal health records. Haven't decided that yet.

I see, that kind is specific from your implementation right or is defined in a nip? Just curious because I'm thinking in start coding a simple note taking app. I think the decision of the kind is whether or not you want other apps to interop with yours

Not to discourage you from this, but I self-host Nextcloud which has a Notes app that worvs pretty much in the same way Keep does.

That's ok. That's not main thrust of the project- just a cool feature.

Plus I am not trying to build a private cloud offering. Just a #safebox that can save your ass if you lose everything.

Let's be honest here - brilliant idea! Thinking of a smartphone app or something more cross-platform, like web?
