This is unbelievably true, and has been since the inception of this ideology. Now the ones who wield it call themselves Woke Left, but it's the same playbook. They use naïve useful idiots who think they're doing good because the script of lies they're taught always sounds amazing and is easy to recite.

I'll modify this slightly:
People *claiming to be* Marxists lie a lot about everything.
Including about being Marxists; most that I've met have a poor understanding about what Marxism actually is (or is not), and few have read more that summaries or excerpts of Marx's writings.

The manifesto itself is full of misconceptions about the nature of society, economics, and capitalism. It's a document meant to rile up and misdirect the common man into supporting a 10-step scheme to enact totalitarian rule.
