Silicon Valley will not like Nostr one bit.
It doesn’t suit their VC model at all, you can invest here for sure but you can’t just plough money in trying to buy users to monetise later when there is no way to keep them inside your walled garden.
Expect them to be at the forefront of the FUD when it comes.
How many users will they lose if they come after bitcoiners?
I would guess maybe like 5-10% are users on these platforms are pro-bitcoin. Thats a lot of revenue from big tech data harvesting giants to lose.
Honestly I have no idea, but I can see that a big slice of their lunch will be eaten and I know they will fkn hate it.
Fiat is all about using the state when you get big enough to maintain your entrenched position.
They’re gonna send their lobbyists to have governments crack down on nostr as some evil dark web like they do every time their power is threatened.
