Do you know your Threat Model?
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to privacy. Anyone who shills that narrative is not a privacy professional. I work with clients who come to me for help because of all sorts of reasons--from jealous ex-es, to opting out of big tech and surveillance capitalism, to more extreme cases--and this is the first topic I teach.
Learn to identify your unique threat model, then and only then, can you act accordingly.

Unfortunately, not knowing doesn't avoid the consequences of not knowing.
Almost noone ever learns about it and when they do then still won't make it.
