Hey all, wanted to say 👋 to anyone who might be out there :)

I’m a dev that’s been lurking for half a year or so, been thinking about trying to build a little meetup nostr app/client as a pet project for learning and exploring.

Wanted to pop in and say hi!!

I do have a few questions that I had after thinking about and creeping nostr for the last 6 months haha. If there’s been ongoing discussions on this stuff some links would also be wicked, apologies if this stuff has already been discussed a shitload, links appreciated! Anyway here they are:

1. How does nostr not turn into smtp/email? As in centralization at the relay level

2. Sustainable solution to spam? Also has to do with #1

3. Any pointers/gotchas for someone just starting to learn and build on nostr that you wish you knew at the start?
